Job Tasks
Interview individuals to obtain relevant information by asking questions from a prepared outline.
Write responses of the participants.
Tally information collected.

Skills Required
Mature, professional self-presentation along with strong listening and interactional skills.
In particular, the following skills are required:
a)Active listening: Giving full attention to what the interviewees are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
b)Effective speaking and oral expression: Talking to interviewees to convey information effectively.
Care and accuracy in recording responses and other data during the interview.
Facility in handling unexpected situations in the field with good judgment.
Exercise of initiative and perseverance in obtaining respondent cooperation and completed interviews.
Ability to read and write in English, and Akan (Twi or Fante).

Compensation
The duration of this study will be 8 weeks.
They will be expected to work at least 20 hours per week.
Wage Rate: GHC5 000/hr.

Other Information
Survey interviewers will work alone with minimal supervision.
Previous experience in interviewing will be considered a plus.

About the Survey
The aim of this survey is to understand how technology can be used to improve the business processes of small business owners in Ghana.
The technology needs information gathered will be used to guide the development of relevant technologies. The inventory information gathered will be used to advertise small businesses and their products on the www.fienipa.com price estimation Internet portal.
